Green TONES
Food-Music-Movement-Clothing
Color affects us all in many ways from what we wear to the food we eat. Green is a calming color of growth, abundance, prosperity, luck, harmony and environmental awareness, alternatively “green with envy” and “a little green”, both popular sayings, embodies the anxiety green can create through jealousy and having little experience.
Surrounding yourself with green could create a feeling of renewal, relaxation, harmony, balance and luck, perfect to help you make mindful decisions and pursue understanding.
Naturally green foods are packed with antioxidants and minerals that help remove free-radicals from our system, that damage our cells and trigger a variety of diseases and here are a variety to try.

GREEN TONES: CLOTHING
Our Minnesota winters are long and gray, so I love surrounding myself with as much greenery as possible like in my green portrait. Here’s more about wearing green from around the world.
Wealth, good luck, harmony, nature, wearing green symbolizes all things growth and abundance.
In Western Culture wearing green means luck, environmental awareness and brings to mind the rigid order the army marches across the land.
Whereas in many countries, like Mexico it symbolizes freedom, in South American countries, that are culturally connected to the forrest, it represents the death of the rain forrest and therefore death itself. In parts of Indonesia wearing green is forbidden, because it symbolizes death. Alternatively in the Middle East it is the color of Islam and represents fertility, luck and wealth. This is similar in Eastern countries where is represents new life, youth and fertility.
Understanding what colors mean in other cultures can help to connect us to our increasingly global world.

The Heart Chakra is associated with green. If we balance our heart chakra we can begin to open our hearts by forgiving ourselves and others, trusting ourselves and others and best of all loving others and ourselves.
