CHASING CLOUDS
Chasing Clouds is a long exposure photographic exploration of Minnesota's giant roadside attractions, those larger-than-life icons that live in the collective memory of Minnesotans. Just as clouds move across the sk and the camera’s sensor, so too do memories, morphing and transforming within our consciousness.
With 54 to photograph around this great state of cloudy water this project is always growing. Minnesota is named for the Dakota Sioux word "Mnisota”, which is the indigenous name for our Minnesota River, which means "cloudy water", so we pay our respects to its original stewards and recognize and support the sovereignty of the First nations throughout Minnesota as we travel the state.
